In addition to its usual coordination of Minneapolis charitable work, Associated Charities formed a fire relief committee to aid citizens affected by the east side lumber district fire. The families rendered homeless by the fire were provided with food and shelter. Please see pages 37-44 for more information.

The Board of Managers of the Brotherhood of Gethsemane presents their eighth annual report which includes a review of their work for the year past and the work of the Parish of Gethsemane, of which the Brotherhood forms a part. Associated Charities was designed to be a central bureau of all the charitable efforts in Minneapolis. It furnished temporary work through its employment bureau. An emergency fund was set up to provide immediate relief to urgent cases. There was a system of tickets for lodging and restaurants that was always honored by the local establishments to aid applicants.
